Theo Painter Palettes
Painter Palettes is a Theo family whose models are dedicated to painters: Andy after Andy Warhol, Pablo after Pablo Picasso, Jackson after Jackson Pollock, Sara after Sarah Morris and Vilmos after Vilmos Huszár. Just as a painter mixes colours on a palette, these frames layer transparent acetates in different colours to create new combinations.
„We carry colour 003, Red Jelly + Brown Ecaille. The frame is small: 41 mm lens, 25 mm bridge.“

A Belgian house from Antwerp. The first theo glasses appeared in 1989, made by two opticians, Wim Somers and Patrick Hoet, each of whom ran his own shop. The name is an anagram of Hoet: THEO from HOET. The house makes deliberately wilful shapes and works with unusual materials - acetate, titanium, steel and aluminium, often in one frame.
