A hinge with no screw
A classic hinge always has a screw that loosens over time - the Mykita LITE line solves this with a spiral hinge that coils instead of screwing, with no moving part that can fall out.
„Silicone nose pads and temple tips further reduce slipping, useful for an active day.“

Mykita
A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
