A navigator in luggage colours

MYKITA | RIMOWA brings together two German houses: the MYKITA workshop in Berlin and RIMOWA, the Cologne house known for its aluminium luggage. An ultra-thin stainless steel frame carries rings of anodised aluminium in RIMOWA finishes. Each pair is handcrafted at MYKITA HAUS in Berlin and comes in a co-branded case with a certificate of authenticity.

„The largest of the three MR models: a 57 mm lens and a 150 mm temple, for a wider face. If you drive, ask for AL4 - the only colourway with polarised lenses.“

Mykita

A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
