The naked wirecore

In the house's words, SL 665 is a new evolution of the naked wirecore concept, a line Saint Laurent ties to its men's styles: the metal core of the temple stays visible through a clear material, here in a new, thinner version.

„We carry the black, with black lenses and clear temples.“

Saint Laurent

A Paris fashion house founded in 1961 by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé. In 1966 it introduced the women's tuxedo and Rive Gauche, the first luxury ready-to-wear line. Since 2012 the ready-to-wear has carried the Saint Laurent name, and the house is part of the Kering group. Anthony Vaccarello was creative director from 2016 to October 2026. Since 2015 Saint Laurent eyewear has been developed and distributed by Kering Eyewear; before that it was made under licence by Safilo.
