A pilot from an Italian workshop
The Paul is handmade in Italy. The acetate is milled on both sides, and the temple holds a core wire with the house logo, visible through the transparent acetate.

Brunello Cucinelli
An Italian house founded in 1978 by Brunello Cucinelli in Solomeo, a village near Perugia. It began with cashmere in colours nobody was making at the time, and is known today as much for how it operates: wages are twenty percent above the market, overtime is forbidden, and the lunch break lasts an hour and a half. The eyewear is recent - the licence with EssilorLuxottica was signed in 2022 and the first collection appeared in 2024.
