The letter C as a signature

Décor C de Cartier is a collection that pays homage to the Maison through two strong aesthetic statements. Décor C Classique adorns the temples with a capital C, while Décor C allongé plays with the initial to create a singular motif. On CT0623O the C is inserted in the temple as part of the hinge.

Cartier

A Paris house founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. It has made eyewear only since the 1980s - the first collection appeared in 1983, with the Vendôme and Must models, in gold, platinum and buffalo horn. The Santos carries screws taken from the bezel of the watch of the same name, made in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, a friend of Louis Cartier.
