Anne & Valentin Minimalist
Minimalist starts from Mies van der Rohe's “less is more”: the frame is reduced to its structure. Titanium gives the purest line and lightness, acetate is kept to a minimum, and the metal is embedded in the acetate. The house also names Dieter Rams as a reference. Minimalist is the exception to the house rule of making everything in France - it is made in Japan, where the best titanium is.
„M13 comes in seven colours; we carry H31, black metal with horn-toned acetate.“

Anne & Valentin
A French house from Toulouse. It grew out of a couple of opticians' wish to make unusual, graphic glasses for their friends. They have worked with the same factories in the Jura, in eastern France, for over twenty years, and make their titanium frames in Japan.
