Steel and acetate in one rim

LITE is MYKITA's collection of reduced design and high comfort. The frames are made from circular materials, by hand in Berlin.

„A smaller frame, 129 mm wide, for a narrower face. Clear grey acetate and a gold bridge give a quiet, warm contrast.“

Mykita

A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
