Steel from Berlin, aluminium from Cologne
HERITAGE is the MYKITA | RIMOWA series that reinterprets classic eyewear shapes. An ultra-thin MYKITA stainless steel frame holds rings of anodised aluminium in RIMOWA finishes. Every pair is handcrafted at MYKITA HAUS in Berlin and comes in a co-branded case with a certificate of authenticity.

Mykita
A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
