A shape from the 1930s

The panto shape the Leon carries traces back to the 1930s - the DECADES line brings it into contemporary, ultra-thin steel less than half a millimetre thick.

„A classic panto shape works on almost any face shape - a safe pick for someone who does not want to experiment.“

Mykita

A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
