A neon colour on a minimal shape

The round, open-bridge shape is one of the most stripped-down in Mykita's range - the Aita pairs it with a bold neon pink instead of the usual black or silver tone.

A bold colour works best as a statement piece, not an everyday choice for someone who prefers to stay discreet.

Mykita

A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
