An aviator in polyamide
An aviator is usually made in metal. Aspen has a 3D-printed MYLON front set into slim steel rims, so it is lighter while the edges look like metal.
„The front is built layer by layer by selective laser sintering.“

Mykita
A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
