The colours of Park Seo-Bo

Together with Park Seo-Bo, a painter who shaped Korean contemporary art, MYKITA turned the signature colours of his works into eyewear. From the minimal form to the specially mixed colours, every detail came from a close collaboration between the artist and the house.

„We carry two colours: C662 Maple Leaf and C668 Charcoal.“

Mykita

A Berlin house founded in 2003 by Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans, Philipp Haffmans and Moritz Krüger. The name comes from its first premises - a former day nursery, which Germans call a "Kita" for short. The frames are still hand-assembled in Berlin, in their own workshop, because when they started nobody would manufacture what they had drawn. The house signature is a patented screwless spiral hinge, in stainless steel half a millimetre thick.
