The thickest in the family
Moscot says the Dolt may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but it is the thickest and goodest. The name is a joke: according to the house, the Dolt is a smart choice.
„We carry the black Dolt with American Grey Fade lenses and with Bel Air Blue lenses, both in size 49.“

Moscot
A New York family house. Hyman Moscot arrived through Ellis Island in 1899 and began selling ready-made glasses from a wooden pushcart on Orchard Street. He opened the first shop in 1915, at 94 Rivington Street. The family still runs it - the fifth generation. The model names come from Yiddish and from people in the family.
