Three rings from 1924
In 1924 Louis Cartier designed a ring formed by three intertwined moving rings: round on the outside, smooth on the inside. It became the Trinity line, Cartier's jewellery in three golds. On CT0685S the Trinity ring sits on the temples in golden, platinum and rose gold finishes.
„We carry both colours: gold with a grey lens (002) and gold with a bordeaux lens (004).“

Cartier
A Paris house founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. It has made eyewear only since the 1980s - the first collection appeared in 1983, with the Vendôme and Must models, in gold, platinum and buffalo horn. The Santos carries screws taken from the bezel of the watch of the same name, made in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, a friend of Louis Cartier.
