Signature C de Cartier is a collection inspired by the capital C of the Maison's name: sleek frames joined by a C-shaped bridge. On CT0626S the C de Cartier bridge is joined by the gadroon motif on the temples and temple tip details inspired by Cartier leather goods.

Cartier
A Paris house founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. It has made eyewear only since the 1980s - the first collection appeared in 1983, with the Vendôme and Must models, in gold, platinum and buffalo horn. The Santos carries screws taken from the bezel of the watch of the same name, made in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, a friend of Louis Cartier.
