The historical Décor C temple
CT0580S brings back the historical Décor C temple in a combined version: the metal Décor C detail is set into the acetate temple and works as part of the hinge. The Maison pairs the gold metal with different acetate colours. Décor C de Cartier is a collection that pays tribute to the Maison through two aesthetics. Décor C Classique adorns the temples with a capital C, while Décor C Allongé plays with the Maison's initial to create a singular motif.

Cartier
A Paris house founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. It has made eyewear only since the 1980s - the first collection appeared in 1983, with the Vendôme and Must models, in gold, platinum and buffalo horn. The Santos carries screws taken from the bezel of the watch of the same name, made in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, a friend of Louis Cartier.
