C de Cartier are jewellery-motif sunglasses on which the Maison's initials stand as a mark of elegance. On CT0592S the double C is rendered in metal as a detail on the front of the frame.

Cartier

A Paris house founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier. It has made eyewear only since the 1980s - the first collection appeared in 1983, with the Vendôme and Must models, in gold, platinum and buffalo horn. The Santos carries screws taken from the bezel of the watch of the same name, made in 1904 for the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, a friend of Louis Cartier.
