A drop at the end of the temple

The drop is one of the signature details of Bottega Veneta eyewear. On BV1436S it sits at the tip of a slim metal temple, and the same temple passes through a hole in the lens to wrap the front of the frame.

„We carry the transparent yellow colour; in person the lens looks olive brown.“

It is headquartered in Milan, with its main atelier in a villa near Montebello, close to Vicenza. Part of the Kering group, it has been led by creative director Louise Trotter since January 2025. Since 2015 Bottega Veneta eyewear has been developed and distributed by Kering Eyewear; before that it was made under licence by Safilo.
