About the brand
A New York house. Thom Browne began in 2001 with five suits, in a small by-appointment shop in the West Village. He is known for having recut the uniform - the grey suit - rather than abandoning it: shortened proportions, a closer fit. The eyewear began in 2011 with DITA, and since 2022 the house has made it itself.

The eyewear was brought back in house
The eyewear started in 2011 in collaboration with DITA. Since 2022 Thom Browne has made it in-house.
Browne shortened the grey suit and cut it closer to the body instead of replacing it with another cut.
The tricolour stripe
Every Thom Browne piece carries a red, white and blue grosgrain stripe that identifies the house. On the eyewear it appears as enamel temple tips.
