About the brand
A fashion house launched by Miuccia Prada in 1993 and named after her family nickname. It is part of the Prada Group, headquartered in Milan, and has shown its collections at Paris Fashion Week since 2006. Since 2003 Miu Miu eyewear has been designed, produced and distributed under licence by Luxottica, today EssilorLuxottica.

Eyewear under licence since 2003
Miu Miu does not make its eyewear in-house: since 2003, under an agreement with the Prada Group, it has been designed, produced and distributed by Luxottica, today EssilorLuxottica. In 2025 the agreement was extended to the end of 2030.
Runway pieces move into the eyewear collection: Nocturne was shown at the Fall/Winter 2024 show, and Vedette at the Fall/Winter 2025 show.
An Endless Summer
The Miu Miu L'Été 2026 summer campaign was photographed by Jeano Edwards. The house describes it as an exploration of daylight, in which long summer days merge into one beside an endless sea; a wardrobe in shades of blue and sand is finished with the curved Ivresse sunglasses.
