About the brand
A Swiss family house founded in 2010 by Chris Mastaler and Kate Lupinsky, who is also creative director. The collection has three lines: combination and titanium frames are made in Sabae, Japan, the acetate line outside Valdobbiadene, Italy. The shapes openly cite sculpture - Brâncuși, Arp - so each collection reads as its own project.

Three lines, two countries
The house is Swiss, but no frame is made there. Metal and combination frames go to Sabae in Japan, acetate ones to Italy near Valdobbiadene - each material where it is worked best.
The acetate comes from Takiron Rowland in Osaka and Mazzucchelli in Varese, and the gold plating is done by Eyetec in Japan. The house names its suppliers, which is unusual in this trade.
Why each collection looks different
The models are drawn from sculpture. Constantin Brâncuși's „Mademoiselle Pogany" and Arp's „Torso" and „Leaf" are named as direct references for particular frames. So a shape is chosen not by what is in fashion but by which form sits on a face.
