Intrecciato, from leather to eyewear
Intrecciato, leather cut into strips and woven by hand, was introduced in 1975 and became the house signature. With it came the line "When Your Own Initials Are Enough": the quality of the craft instead of a logo.
In eyewear the weave returns as an Intrecciato wirecore inside acetate temples, alongside decorative studs, mechanically screwed hinges and lasered detailing. The Spring-Summer 2026 collection explores shape and fluidity through new interpretations of the house's craft.
A New Chapter
Louise Trotter has led Bottega Veneta since January 2025 and presented her debut show in September 2025, with an audio collaboration with British artist Steve McQueen. Her language brings together craft and modern sensuality, practicality and luxury.
