The Momentum Collection

Momentum is a Silhouette collection of rimless optical frames inspired by the workings of a clock: the lines are slim and straight and the look is pared back. The frames are titanium, screwless, extremely light and hypoallergenic. The shapes in this 5529 series were introduced in 2023.

An Austrian family house from Linz, founded in 1964 by Anneliese and Arnold Schmied. The Titan Minimal Art line weighs about two grams and has no rims, screws or hinges. Around eighty percent of the work on metal frames is still done by hand, in Austria. Since 2000 these frames have been certified for spaceflight and have flown on more than seventy missions.
