Kubrick, 1948
Before his films, a young Stanley Kubrick was a staff photographer for Look magazine. The house based the 1948 on the glasses he wears in a portrait from that year, taken by his mentor and editor, photojournalist Arthur Rothstein. It arrives in a silk-wrapped box with a leather case handcrafted in Italy, a microfibre cloth and an authenticity card with the craftsmen's signatures and a hand-written serial number.

Jacques Marie Mage
A Los Angeles house that makes frames in numbered editions, with the number of pieces listed for every colour. Jérôme Jacques Marie Mage founded it in 2014 with the idea that a frame should be handed down, not worn out. The frames are made in Japan and Italy from acetate, beta titanium, 18-karat gold, silver and precious stones.
