The J9 doesn't hide its thickness — the translucent dark blue was chosen precisely because it reads deeper and heavier on dense acetate, instead of looking light and see-through the way it would on a thinner frame.

They do not call their frames glasses but masks - an object that both protects and accentuates, and lets you play with your several identities. The acetate is hand-carved and heat-treated.
