A Berlin house founded in 2012 by Livio Graziottin, a designer, and Sergio Eusebi, an anthropologist. They do not call their frames glasses but masks - an object that both protects and accentuates, and lets you play with your several identities. The acetate is hand-carved and heat-treated. Dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy.

Dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy
The acetate is not machined to completion but finished by hand - carved and heat-treated, so the edge stays uneven where it was meant to. That is why two identical masks never share a profile.
Berlin was not chosen by accident. The founders say it is a city of people who do not try to eliminate differences but to enjoy them - and a mask is precisely the object that raises a difference rather than hiding it.
Why a mask, not a frame
The founders say they began "with the concept of a mask, born from the deep desire for a protective yet accentuating object to put on the face, something that allows us to play with our multiple identities". So a model is chosen not by what it hides but by what you want louder on your face.
