About the brand

A Berlin house founded in 2012 by Livio Graziottin, a designer, and Sergio Eusebi, an anthropologist. They call their frames masks rather than glasses: objects that both protect and accentuate the wearer. The acetate is carved by hand and heat-treated. Dreamed in Berlin, handmade in Italy.

Hand-carved acetate

The acetate is carved by hand and heat-treated, so the surface and edges are not perfectly regular.

The founders say they chose Berlin because it is a city of people who do not try to erase differences but enjoy them.

Why a mask, not a frame

The founders say they started "from the concept of the mask, a protective yet accentuating object that lets us play with our multiple identities".
