The Julien came out of a collaboration with the American artist Matt McCormick. The house releases such runs from time to time: someone outside draws the shape, the making stays the same.

Jacques Marie Mage
A Los Angeles house that makes frames in numbered runs, the way watches or books are made, with the edition size printed beside every colourway. Jérôme Jacques Marie Mage founded it in 2014 on the premise that a frame should be inherited, not used up. Made in Japan and Italy from acetate, beta titanium, 18-karat gold, silver and precious stones.
